The Devonia's Hammer is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Shadow of the Erdtree. It is found around Ancient Ruins of Rauh in the expansion, which opens only once Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood are beaten.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Devonia's Vortex costs 16 FP. Using the power of the Crucible vortex, violently spin the hammer around and slam the ground, causing a shockwave. This skill can be charged to increase its power. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at C, Dex at E and Fai at D, so Str is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 30, Dex 13 and Fai 19 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

Great hammer wielded by Devonia, longest-serving of the Crucible Knights. Weapon forged of primordial gold, marked by its reddish hue and inhabited by ancient holiness. A torrent of life is engraved upon the striking face.
