The Fallingstar Beast Jaw is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Mt. Gelmir, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Gravity Bolt costs 13 FP. Imbue the jaw of the fallingstar beast with gravitational lightning sending a bolt crashing down a short distance away. Can be fired in rapid succession. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at D and Int at E, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 34, Dex 12 and Int 20 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.
