The Staff of the Avatar is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring. It is found in the Deeproot Depths, near the end of a run.

The Staff of the Avatar is a ceremonial staff depicting the Erdtree in its historic radiance, wielded by the avatars who emerged after the Shattering to protect the Minor Erdtrees. It drops from the Erdtree Avatar near the Great Waterfall Crest grace in the Deeproot Depths. It is the signature weapon of the Erdtree Avatars, a slow colossal staff dealing Strike damage with a holy portion. Its unique skill, Erdtree Slam, is shared with the Rotten Staff. It scales with Strength, Faith and a little Dexterity, and suits a Strength and Faith hybrid.

Skill

Erdtree Slam costs 19 FP. The wielder leaps high into the air and lands rear-first on the ground ahead, and the impact sends golden shockwaves out in all directions. The landing deals holy damage along with physical damage, with the holy part scaling with Faith. It is the strongest of the Ground Slam skills. The skill is unique to this weapon and cannot be swapped out.
