The Envoy's Greathorn is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Late game. It is found around Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, far enough in that it is an end-of-run weapon rather than something to build towards.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Great Oracular Bubble costs 16 FP. Blow on the horn to release a massive magic bubble. The bubble floats gently through the air towards its target. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at D and Fai at D, so Str, Dex and Fai are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 28, Dex 12 and Fai 24 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

Fanned golden horn of the Oracle Envoys. Profoundly weighty, its blows are sure to be felt. Originally an instrument, but one that cannot be sounded by a mere human. Or perhaps it is too early to sound the call.
