Wickmouth is a lakeside port town in the Albaneve Summits, beyond the mountain range. Part of its port has been swallowed by the Shroud, and the Fell now hold it. Its lighthouse was home to the alchemist who invented the balefires, the signal fires meant to warn of the great beast's return. The alchemist complained that vultures kept passing the lighthouse after the boss Lord Vorgoth closed the quarry. The Alchemist sends the player here for the lost wisdom of that lighthouse.
Where to Find Wickmouth - Map Location
Wickmouth lies in the Shroud south-east of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, west of The Pit. Wickmouth Goat Farm is right next to it, to the south-east. A Shroud Root grows on an island west of the lighthouse. Balefire Garrison "Silkfrost" lies to the north, and Gateway Outpost "Drifa" is to the north-east.

Quests
In Alchemic Wisdom, the Flame shows the Alchemist a source of wisdom beyond the mountains: a lighthouse before a lake. Inside the lighthouse lies the left half of a ripped wall hanging that depicts alchemical solutions. Vultures attacked the lighthouse, so the other half lies in their nests at Camellia Lake Marble Quarry. Framing both halves at home unlocks new recipes, including purple fabric and mauveine for better mage armour.

Enemies
A Fell Sicklescythe boss stands in the centre of town, near the docks. Its head is the key to the fifth upgrade of the Flame Altar. A Fell Monstrosity boss guards the Shroud Root on the island west of the lighthouse. Other Fell fill the flooded streets, so the Shroud timer runs low quickly.
