How to Get the Gauldur Blackbow?

Where to find the Gauldur Blackbow Location?

You can find the Gauldur Blackbow location in Geirmund's Hall during the quest "Forbidden Legend." Within Geirmund's Hall you will find Sigdis Gauldurson who can be defeated to get the unique Gauldur Blackbow. Note that if you obtain the Gauldur Blackbow before level 36+ it will have a lower absorb Magicka enchantment and base damage of 8 instead of 14.

Gameplay Tips and Tricks

The Gauldur Blackbows Absorb Magicka enchantment is not very practical in combat since bows are two handed weapons and you cannot cast spells to use the magicka your absorbing while wielding it. Its also unlikely you have levelled your archery skill and mage skills.
