The Bleeding Berserkir Axes is an axe in Valheim, dealing 140 slash and 80 chop. At 220 total damage it is 4th of the 15 axes, so it is a step on the ladder rather than the top of it.

How to Craft

Crafted at Black forge, station level 4.
Costs 1x Berserkir axes, 5x Flametal, 1x Bloodstone at quality 1.
Materials can be found in the Ashlands biome.

When to Use It

Late game. Flametal is in the Ashlands, the furthest south the map goes and, until 1.0, the hardest biome in the game.

Upgrades

Properties

Paid for being hurt, 6 hits at a time. Bloodstone adds 0.2% damage for every point of health you are missing, not the target, and the dual-wield combo lands 6 separate hits that each take the bonus. 100 health down is 20% on all of them.

And both hands are full. No shield, no parry, while the gem asks you to fight at low health in the Ashlands. This is the dodge-roll build, not the guard build.

Notes

Chop damage applies to trees and not to creatures, which is why a tree falls to an axe and nothing else.
Which trees an axe can fell is part of its tier: stone and flint manage Beech, Fir and Pine, bronze and iron add Birch, Oak and the Ancient Tree, and only the Black metal axe and the Jotun Bane cut Yggdrasil shoots and Scorched trees.
The first hit of a two-handed combo is much the slowest at 1.58 seconds; the second and third take about 0.92 and 0.7 and carry triple damage between them.
