No creature in Valheim drops Bloodstone. It is sealed in the charred chests of the Charred Fortresses that the dead garrison in the Ashlands.

How to Get It

Those chests are the only place it comes from, so sail to the Ashlands, fight your way into a Charred Fortress and loot the charred chests inside. The fortresses are heavily guarded, so go in with Ashlands armour and keep Fire Resistance Barley Wine at hand for the heat and the flaming attacks. A portal set up on the shore makes the run far easier, and Bloodstone itself can go through portals once you have it. Expect to clear several fortresses before you have enough for a full weapon upgrade.
