The Demolisher is a club in Valheim, dealing 145 blunt. It carries the highest total damage of any club in the game, 145 across all types. Blunt damage hurts Blob, Frost Blob and Growth more than most things, which is what to carry it for.

How to Craft

Crafted at Black forge, station level 1.
Costs 10x Yggdrasil wood, 20x Iron, 10x Refined eitr at quality 1.
Materials can be found in the Mistlands biome.

When to Use It

Mid game. It needs Mistlands materials and a Black forge, so it is behind Yagluth and the sea crossing after him. 2 biomes still sit past this one: the Ashlands and the Deep North both carry better gear.

Upgrades

Upgraded 3 times after crafting, each level wanting the station built one step further up than the last. Every figure quoted elsewhere on this wiki is quality 1, so this is the ladder your own copy is somewhere on:

Properties

It slams, it does not swing. The primary has no combo and no secondary: a single long wind-up, then the ground takes it and everything within a 4 metre sphere is damaged and knocked back. Aim at the floor between enemies rather than at an enemy.

145 blunt into a 4 metre sphere, with 2x stagger. The most damage any club carries, delivered to everything standing near the impact rather than to one target.

28 stamina a slam, the dearest attack in the game. With the long wind-up and no secondary to fall back on, a missed slam is most of a stamina bar for nothing. It wants food and the Eikthyr power, not improvisation.

Black forge level 1. Available the day the station is, which makes it the earliest of the Mistlands clubs by a long way.

Notes

The primary moves you forward 0.66 m with each swing, which closes distance the knockback just opened.
The secondary narrows to a 30 degree arc from the primary's 90, so it is a single-target finisher and not a crowd tool.
A two-handed hammer lands its blow 2 metres in front of the player and damages a 4-metre radius around that point, so positioning matters more than aim.
