The Ash of War: Golden Vow is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Sacred affinity and the Golden Vow skill. It can be picked up early in a run.
Golden Vow is a skill passed down among the knights of the capital: the wielder raises the weapon aloft and pledges to honor the Erdtree in battle. This grants the wielder and nearby allies a 45-second aura that raises attack power and damage negation. It needs no Faith, so any build can carry it. It suits co-op players and builds that want a team buff without investing in the incantation of the same name.

It grants the Sacred affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Lightning. The skill costs 40 FP. Skill
Cast it before a boss fight or just before summoned allies engage, since the aura reaches allies standing nearby. It does not stack with the incantation version of Golden Vow, which is stronger, so only one should be used. Putting it on a light off-hand weapon such as a dagger lets the main weapon keep its own skill.
