The Ash of War: Storm Stomp is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Quality affinity and the Storm Stomp skill. It is available within the first few hours of a run.

Storm Stomp channels the tempests of Stormveil: the wielder stomps hard on the ground to kick up a momentary storm all around. The storm deals modest damage but stuns nearly everything it hits, interrupting attacks and opening enemies to follow-ups. It is cheap on FP, has some hyper armor and works on every melee armament. It suits any build that wants an early, reliable interrupt, from the first hours of the game onward.

Stats

It grants the Quality affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Keen, Heavy, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 6 FP. Skill

The stomp is best used when an enemy is about to attack or when several foes crowd in, since the hitstun stops most of them in their tracks. A quick attack right after the stomp punishes the stunned target. Only hyper armor resists the stun, so it is also useful against players spamming fast attacks or quickstep.

"One of the skills that channel the tempests of Stormveil. Stomp hard on the ground to kick up a momentary storm."
