The Black Knife Armor (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Black Knife Set. It is found in the Consecrated Snowfield, near the end of a run.

Black Knife Armor (Altered) is the Black Knife Assassins' silent scale armor with its cape removed. Without the concealing veil the chest piece loses the effect that muffles footsteps, while saving only a tiny amount of weight. Its defenses stay almost identical to the caped version, giving medium weight protection with good holy negation. It suits players who prefer the assassin's look without the cape and do not need silent movement.

Stats

It brings 19 poise at a weight of 9.

Altering

Its unaltered form, Black Knife Armor, weighs 9.2 instead of 9 and keeps the same 19 poise. Altering works at any Site of Grace.

How to Get Black Knife Armor (Altered) Guide

The entire set can be found on a corpse under the stairway in Ordina, Liturgical Town located in Consecrated Snowfield.
The chest piece can then be altered at a Site of Grace or with the help of Boc.

"Armor used by the Black Knife Assassins. Crafted with scale armor that makes no sound. The assassins that carried out the deeds of the Night of the Black Knives were all women, and rumored to be Numen who had close ties with Marika herself."
