| Required | No |
Jagged Peak Drake is a field boss in Elden Ring. It comes from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
The Jagged Peak Drakes are dragons of Bayle's bloodline who guard the slopes of the Jagged Peak. The first sleeps in a shallow lake just past the Dragon's Pit. Two more fight each other further up the mountain, and only one of them turns on the player. They breathe flame and call down lightning, so Torrent is vital on the wide slopes.
Lore
The Jagged Peak Drakes are large dragons with wings in place of forelimbs. Flame and lightning crackle together when they breathe.
The drakes are said to come from the bloodline of Bayle the Dread, and they inherited his power to conjure flame lightning. Like all lesser dragons, they lack the stone scales of the ancient dragons. That missing armor leaves them open to gravel stone and dragon-slaying weapons.

Weaknesses
| Weak To | Pierce |
|---|---|
| Parry | No |
Attacks
- Tail sweep: it turns slowly, then swings its tail around. A roll forward toward its legs avoids it and opens a counter.
- Fire breath: flame mixed with lightning sprays across the ground. Riding Torrent out of the cone avoids it.
- Lightning strikes: bolts called down from the sky. Constant movement avoids them.
- Bites and stomps: close attacks around the head and legs. Striking the legs after each miss builds stance damage.
Tactics
- Stay on Torrent to hit and run across the large arena.
- Wait for its fire breath on the ground, then strike while it recovers.
- Attack the legs to break its stance and land a critical hit.
- In the crater, let the two drakes fight before joining in.
- Summon spirit ashes to draw its attention.
- Use pierce damage and dragon-slaying weapons for bonus damage.
