Marika's Scarseal is a spellcasting talisman in Elden Ring. It becomes available partway through a run, in the Siofra River.

Marika's Scarseal is an eye engraved with an Elden Rune, said to be the seal of Queen Marika and a symbol of the lifelong duty of those chosen by the gods. It raises Mind, Intelligence, Faith and Arcane by 3 each, at the cost of taking 10% more damage. Flat stat boosts matter most early on, for example letting Vagabond, Samurai and Wretch characters reach the 11 Intelligence and 11 Faith needed for Smithscript weapons. At higher levels a complementary talisman without the defensive penalty is often the safer choice, and it cannot be worn with Marika's Soreseal.

How to Get Marika's Scarseal Guide

• Found on a corpse at the base of the waterfall in the northwest of the Siofra River, behind the arena of the Dragonkin Soldier.
• From the Worshippers' Woods Site of Grace, head south and climb the broken pillar to the waygate on top of the ruin, which leads to the waterfall area.
• Follow the cliff to the right around the lake to the waterfall under the arches.
• The talisman can be taken without waking the boss.
