The Companion Jar is a damage talisman in Elden Ring. It is a mid-game find.

The Companion Jar is a talisman the living jars give to their friends, and though the jars are brought to life by human flesh and blood, they are all rather kindly folk. It is the reward for finishing Jar-Bairn's questline in Jarburg by handing over Alexander's Innards. It raises the attack power of Cracked Pots and Ritual Pots by 20% and of Hefty Cracked Pots by 10%, but it does not increase the status buildup of pots. It stacks with the Jar and Greatjar helms, making it the core of throwing pot builds that rely on consumables for damage.

How to Get Companion Jar Guide

It is left where Jar-Bairn sat in Jarburg after he is given Alexander's Innards at the end of his questline.

1. Talk to Jar-Bairn in Jarburg in Liurnia of the Lakes and exhaust his dialogue.
2. Meet Iron Fist Alexander, then reload the area and talk to Jar-Bairn again until he speaks of poachers.
3. Progress Diallos's questline at Volcano Manor until he leaves for Jarburg, then talk to Diallos and Jar-Bairn across several reloads.
4. Defeat Alexander in his final duel in Crumbling Farum Azula to obtain Alexander's Innards.
5. Once Jar-Bairn speaks of becoming a Warrior Jar, give him the innards.
6. Exhaust his dialogue, reload the area and pick up the talisman where he sat.
