The Raptor Talons are a Claw in Elden Ring. It shows up mid-run, in the Altus Plateau.

The Raptor Talons are a claw of two sharp, thin blades wielded by the assassins of Ravenmount, letting them imitate the attacks of Deathbirds. They sit in a chest behind several secret walls in Sage's Cave on the Altus Plateau. They excel at airborne attacks, with jumping motion values about 10 percent higher than other claws, and two-handed they have unique strong attacks that hit twice: a long forward lunge when fully charged and a backward leap on the second. They weigh only 1.5, build blood loss and scale mainly with Dexterity at C.

Stats

The Raptor Talons are the lightest claw at 1.5 weight with the cheapest requirements in the class, yet they reach A Strength with Heavy or A Dexterity with Keen at max upgrade. They keep the 110 critical rating and 60 blood loss buildup, so almost any build can slot them in for bleed and ripostes.

How to Get Raptor Talons Guide

Found inside Sage's Cave, located in Altus Plateau.
They can be found inside a chest just beyond a room containing four skeletons, hidden behind an illusionary wall.

Skill

Quickstep costs 3 FP. The wielder performs a quick sidestep in any direction with a burst of invulnerability frames, a little shorter on repeated uses. Stepping sideways while locked on circles around the target, and an attack right after the step comes out as a rolling or backstep attack depending on the direction. It covers more ground with a light equip load and costs very little FP. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

Suggested Build

A jump attack bleed build: dual-wielded leaps lead the damage, and fast strings keep blood loss building.

Affinity	Sources keep its native bleed and raise Dexterity; a whetblade affinity can shift its scaling toward other attributes.
