The Venomous Fang is a Claw in Elden Ring. It is found in Caelid, around the middle of a run.

The Venomous Fang is one of the weapons designed for gladiatorial combat, used by duelists who were exiled from the colosseum, and the black fang protruding from its bronze snake head is coated in deadly poison. It lies behind a Giant Poison Flower in the rot-filled Abandoned Cave in Caelid. Its hits build deadly poison, and a Poison infusion keeps the deadly poison damage while using the duration of normal poison. It is a claw with Strength and Dexterity scaling at D, a light 2.5 weight and low requirements, which suits a fast poison build.

Stats

The Venomous Fang is the only claw without bleed, building 72 poison that inflicts deadly poison instead. Infused with Poison it keeps the deadly-poison damage with normal poison's duration, and under Poison, Blood or Occult the poison scales with Arcane, so it suits an Arcane build that faces bleed-resistant enemies.

Found on a corpse on top of a ledge reached by climbing the remains of destroyed Abductor Virgins inside the Abandoned Cave, located in Caelid.

Skill

Quickstep costs 3 FP. The wielder performs a quick sidestep in any direction with a burst of invulnerability frames, a little shorter on repeated uses. Stepping sideways while locked on circles around the target, and an attack right after the step comes out as a rolling or backstep attack depending on the direction. It covers more ground with a light equip load and costs very little FP. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

A fast poison claw that stacks deadly poison and lets the damage over time work, with talismans and headgear that trigger on poison.
