The Godskin Peeler is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. It becomes available partway through a run, in the Altus Plateau.

The Godskin Peeler is the unique twinblade of the Godskin Apostles, an asymmetric weapon with a sickle on one end for slicing and a winding spike on the other for boring into flesh. It drops from the Godskin Apostle at the top of Dominula, Windmill Village in the Altus Plateau. Its strong attack and running strong attack use the spike end for pierce damage, unlike other twinblades, and like the rest of its class its power-stanced jumping attack builds status and multi-hit buffs quickly. It comes with Black Flame Tornado, which spins up a tornado of black flame that deals percentage damage to bosses and clears groups. It suits a Dexterity character, or an Arcane character when infused with Blood.

Stats

The Godskin Peeler has the best Dexterity scaling among infusable twinblades, C at +0 and A at max upgrade on a Keen infusion. It makes a decent Arcane weapon when Blood infused, pairs well with Eleonora's Poleblade, and has a unique heavy attack using its winding spike end. Black Flame Tornado is its skill.

Skill

Black Flame Tornado costs 30 FP. The wielder spins the weapon overhead, then plunges it into the ground to raise a roaring vortex of black flames. Holding the button first summons a flame tornado around the wielder that hits repeatedly before the final slam. The flames deal fire damage that scales with Faith and inflict black flame, which burns away a percentage of the target's HP over a short time. Using the skill strips any active weapon buff, and the held version can be cancelled with a roll before the final slam. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

Suggested Build

Played two-handed or power-stanced with fast combos, using Black Flame Tornado for crowds and bosses or a bleed setup that procs blood loss with its multi-hit attacks.
