Abandoned Farms, also called Abandoned Villages, are small clusters of two to five ruined buildings in the Meadows, usually with a couple of broken garden plots.
Where to Find It
Each world gets up to ten farms. Look for them 500 to 2,000 m from the world centre, on fairly flat ground where the height varies by no more than 4 m, and at least 128 m from any other village. Every farm is laid out at random from 20 to 30 pieces spread over a 32 m radius, and some spawn already damaged.
What's Inside
The farm houses come in three variants. One always holds a Meadows Chest, another has a 90% chance of one, and both of them have a 20% chance of a Beehive. Any of the three can contain a Bed, but you cannot use it. Smaller wooden structures fill the rest of the farm. A plot grows up to six Raspberry bushes at 40% each, a hen pen holds up to six Dandelions at 20% each, and an outhouse has up to four Mushrooms at 33% each. You will also find a yard ringed by Roundpole Fences with a 10% chance of a Maypole, a post with empty Signs and a wooden tower.
