Headdress of the Caller is the head piece of the Caller Set, the mage armour of the Deep North. It gives 22 armour and 40% more eitr regeneration.
How to Craft
Craft it in a Frost Foundry from:
- 1x Cast: Headdress of the Caller: Poured at a level 3 Galdr Table from Moose Sinew, a Moose Trophy, Nornathread and its mould.
- 5x Liquid Frost: Made by freezing ice down in a Frigid Kiln.

Mould
Mould: Headdress of the Caller is found in the Deep North:
- Drops from Hexen.
When to Use It
This is end game gear. You need Fader dead before you can progress through the Deep North.
Upgrades
You can upgrade it twice at the Galdr Table. Each step needs the station one level higher than the last, and the first costs the per-level amount while the second costs twice that. Quality 4 would cost four times the per-level amount, but it needs a level 6 Galdr Table, above the current maximum of 5, so that row is not yet available.

Properties
The Caller Set is the mage armour of the north, with 22 armour on each piece and eitr regeneration on all of them. The headdress gives 40% and the robes and trousers give 60% each, for 160% across the set. Its casts are poured at a level 3 Galdr Table, which is also where you repair and upgrade the pieces. The Galdr Table only reaches level 5, so they stop at quality 3.
Its mould drops from Hexen one time in twenty. Hexen fly through the halls of Mörkhalla and come with every Jotun invasion, and they also drop the Nornathread the piece is woven from.
It gives 22 armour at quality 1 and 26 at quality 3. It weighs 1 and has 1000 durability, rising to 1400 at quality 3.
Quality 4 needs a level 6 Galdr Table, above the current maximum of 5, so in practice the headdress stops at quality 3.
Crafting it from scratch and taking it to quality 3 costs 9 Nornathread, 5 Moose Sinew and 4 Moose Trophies, plus a mould and 5 Liquid Frost.
The Deep North offers three pieces for this slot: the Protector helmet with 44 armour at 1 weight, the Vanguard hood with 34 armour at 1 weight, and the Caller headdress with 22 armour at 1 weight. Since all three weigh the same, you are choosing between the Protector's armour, the Vanguard's set bonus and the Caller's eitr.
Notes
- The Galdr Table only goes up to level 5, so the Caller pieces stop at quality 3 for now.
- The cast takes two Moose Sinew, three Nornathread, a Moose Trophy and the mould.
- Once it reaches its last quality level, the Forge of Potential can push it further with a Bloodgold Protection Idol.
