The Moose is the great elk of the Deep North. It has 1,000 health, and its antlers gore for 160 slash. Tame it with lingonberries and it becomes a mount.

Behaviour

A moose is aggressive. It gores with its antlers for 160 slash, sweeps them sideways for 145 and kicks with its hooves for 150 blunt, and each attack has its own four-second cooldown. A one-star moose has 2,000 health and hits one and a half times as hard. A two-star moose has 3,000 health and hits twice as hard.

Where to Find It

Moose spawn anywhere in the Deep North, by day and night. They roam alone, with up to three near a player at once and up to two stars.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Fire is its weakness. It takes half damage from blunt, slash and frost, and spirit does nothing to it. Pierce and lightning land in full. Its stagger limit is 30% of its maximum health.

It takes extra damage from Fire.
It resists Blunt, Slash and Frost, taking half damage.
It is immune to Spirit.

Notes

To tame a moose, pen it and throw lingonberries at its feet. A moose saddle lets you ride it, and tamed moose breed like other tameable animals.
It drops four or five moose meat, two hides and two sinew. A one-star moose drops 8 to 10 meat and four hides, a two-star 16 to 20 meat and eight hides. One time in ten it also drops its trophy.
