The Frost Foundry is where you finish Deep North gear. You pour a cast at the Black Forge or the Galdr Table and set it inside, and with Liquid Frost as fuel it hardens into a Nord weapon, a staff, a piece of armour or the Intricate Key. See Casting for every cast it takes.
How to Build It
It costs fifteen Iron, twenty Stone and ten Frostcores, placed with a Workbench in range, and it needs flat, dry ground. It holds up to twenty Liquid Frost, and each unit burns for ten seconds. It only burns fuel while a cast is inside, and one cast takes 50 seconds and five units.
It has 500 durability, resists pierce and frost, is weak to chop and ignores poison and spirit. Its footprint is six metres by four. It hardens the Nord weapons and shields, the staves, the pieces of the Protector, Vanguard and Caller sets and the Intricate Key. Every one is poured first at a Black Forge or Galdr Table, around a mould found in the Deep North.
It holds one cast at a time. A finished item left inside never burns, and everything it makes comes out at full durability; repairs and upgrades happen at the forge and the table.
