Every part of Slayer comes from the Ashlands itself: Flametal from the veins, hide off an Asksvin and sinew out of a Morgen. It is a two-handed sword for the ground that made it. It deals 170 slash. At 170 total damage it ranks 4th among swords, a step on the ladder rather than the top of it.
How to Craft
Made at a level 3 black forge, from:
- 30x Flametal: Smelted from flametal ore in a blast furnace.
- 5x Asksvin Hide: Dropped by asksvin in the Ashlands.
- 3x Morgen Sinew: Dropped by morgens in the Ashlands.

When to Use It
Late game. Flametal is found in the Ashlands, the furthest south the map goes.
Upgrades

Properties
Its 170 slash is the highest in the class. It is two-handed, costs 20 stamina a swing and gives 64 block armour if you block with the sword itself. That is 20 more slash than Krom, at the cost of a higher forge.
Choose the gemstone before you climb the ladder. Fitting one does not carry the quality level over, so a quality 4 Slayer re-forged into a variant comes back at quality 1 and you pay for the whole ladder again. It can become one of these variants: Brutal (Bloodstone), Scourging (Iolite) and Primal (Jade).
Notes
Its primary attack swings in wide vertical arcs, except for the third hit of the combo, which is narrow. Its secondary attack is a long thrust that outreaches most enemies.
