Moreau's Golem is a Golem, one of the Elementa. It guards a hidden part of Moreau's quarters at Mont Crane Castle in Toussaint. It is met in the Blood and Wine expansion, during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear.

A golem is mindless matter brought to life by a spell. It obeys its maker's orders without question. It needs no food or drink, feels no pain and never tires. That makes it the best servant or guard anyone could ask for.

Moreau's Golem stands watch over a dark family secret. A witcher named Jerome was once lured to Fort Ussar by a fake monster contract. His father had set the trap, because he wanted his son back. Jerome despised his father, a cruel madman who claimed to mean well. Their meeting ended badly for both. Moreau's quarters hide the place where Jerome was kept, and the golem guards the way in.

Coat the silver sword with Elementa Oil and carry Dimeritium Bombs. A golem does not bleed and feels no fear. Fire and poison do nothing to it, and its stone body turns aside most sword blows.

Its fists can crush solid granite, so never try to block or parry them. Watch for three attacks: a heavy charge, a smash on the ground and wide, sweeping strikes. Keep Quen up. After a sweep, roll toward the golem and strike its back with a strong attack. A golem that begins a charge cannot stop quickly, so step aside and punish it as it passes. A Thunderbolt potion speeds up the fight.

1. Talk to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith, about the Griffin School gear.
2. Go to the ruins of Fort Ussar and loot the crate under the stairs on the east side.
3. Read Captain Augustus Fierabras' report.
4. Go to Mont Crane Castle and clear the bandit camp.
5. Use the Eye of Nehaleni on the wall to reveal the hidden tunnel to Moreau's quarters.
6. Take the power crystal from the workshop and find the hidden button with Witcher Senses.
7. Read Moreau's journal, put the crystal in its place and power it with Aard.
8. Go through the portal and kill Moreau's Golem.
9. Explore Jerome's prison and collect the remaining diagrams.

Moreau's Golem is fought in Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear, in Toussaint. Lafargue, the grandmaster smith, starts the hunt for the Griffin School's grandmaster diagrams. The first diagrams lie in a crate under the stairs at the ruins of Fort Ussar. A slyzard and its mother may still guard those ruins. A report found with the diagrams points to Mont Crane Castle, where a large bandit camp has to be cleared.

Inside the castle, the Eye of Nehaleni reveals a hidden tunnel to Moreau's quarters. A power crystal lies in the workshop there, and a hidden button opens a secret room. Moreau's journal in that room tells of a portal. The crystal goes into its place and is powered with the Aard Sign. Moreau's Golem attacks right after the portal. Past the golem, the last diagrams wait in Jerome's prison.
