|---|---|

| Class | Car |
| Manufacturer | Makigai |
| Location | Dogtown |
The Makigai Tanishi T400 is the car Mr. Hands hands over when V first starts working in Dogtown. It is V's first set of wheels in the Phantom Liberty district. It comes free as part of the main story, so every Phantom Liberty player gets one. It is a practical car for getting around Dogtown early in the expansion. The Tanishi T400 is a free Phantom Liberty car that Mr. Hands gives V during the main job Lucretia My Reflection.
Performance
The T400 is a car for everyday driving around Dogtown and the rest of Night City.
Perks shape how the car copes with trouble. Fury Road from the Body tree raises collision damage against enemy vehicles. It also halves the damage V's own car takes in a crash. Gearhead from the Technical Ability tree adds vehicle health. Stuntjock from the Reflexes tree removes the bullet spread penalty for shooting while driving.

- Own Phantom Liberty and reach Dogtown in the main story.

Lore
Makigai's range on the Autofixer netpage includes the Maimai P126, which the in-game Database calls the cheapest mass-produced car in Night City. The Tanishi is another Makigai line, and the Tanishi "Kuma" is its custom variant.
The T400 enters the story through Mr. Hands, the fixer who runs the gigs in Dogtown. He calls V early in the expansion and provides the car.
Notes
- The Tanishi "Kuma" unlocks on the Autofixer netpage through El Capitan's vehicle contracts.
