Lucretia My Reflection is the Phantom Liberty main job in which V hides President Rosalind Myers in Dogtown and makes contact with Solomon Reed, a sleeper agent. Songbird has gone silent after the fight with the Chimera. The job runs from the tunnels under Dogtown to a hideout high in an apartment block, and to the Capitán Caliente restaurant, where an old phone is the only line to Reed.

Story

Songbird Is Gone

After the Chimera falls, V wakes up beside its wreck. Johnny is back too. In the journal, he wonders whether Songbird is dead. His gut says this is only a small setback, though he caught the smell of a netrunner's fried brain. All that is left is to survive the most twisted district in the city while looking after the President. Next time, he says, V should take a simpler job.

V can take the Chimera's core from the ground. Myers is worried about Songbird's silence. The pair head through a hidden passage in a container into the subway tunnels, and a Relic glitch stops V for a moment on the way.

The Hideout

The tunnels lead to an apartment block, and a lift takes V and Myers to the hideout on the 8th floor. The power is off. Johnny appears while V hunts for a working battery, which V takes from a broken drone to restart the generator.

Then two strangers walk in: Jacob Long and Taylor Gibbs. They know there is a huge bounty on the President's head. The meeting can end in a fight, or V can talk them into helping to hide Myers. If they die, V and Myers have to dispose of the bodies before Myers turns in for the night.

Solomon Reed

The next morning, Songbird still has not called, and Myers is nervous. She asks V to contact Solomon Reed, a sleeper agent who used to work with Songbird. The way to reach him is through the Capitán Caliente restaurant. Inside, behind a shelf, sits an old phone. V calls the number 0931, and Reed answers. He sets a meeting at the Andrew Jackson basketball court in the daytime.

Reed questions V at the court, then has V meet him at a black Thorton parked nearby. In the car he introduces himself properly and drives with V to Myers. Hansen's soldiers attack on the way, and more have reached the President's building first. V and Reed fight through the lobby and ride up to the hideout. After a talk between the three of them, V leaves. Two days later, Reed calls, and the story continues in The Damned.

The Tunnels

  1. Take the Chimera's core from the ground next to its wreck.
  2. Talk to Myers, and to Johnny if desired.
  3. Find the entrance to the subway tunnels: open the container to reveal a hidden passage.
  4. Look around for crafting components and ammo first, then enter the passage and climb out through the roof hatch.
  5. Lead Myers through the tunnels and talk to her about Songbird.
  6. Push the mining cart to open the way. The path then splits.
  7. On the right path, slip past the camera, then force the door with 12 Body or open it with 12 Technical Ability. Hack or shoot the next camera to reach a small control room.
  8. Keep heading for the marker until the Relic glitch plays out.

The Hideout

  1. Take the lift to the 8th floor with Myers.
  2. Scan the Tarot card on the wall of the corridor.
  3. Walk with Myers to the hideout and open the door.
  4. Talk to Johnny.
  5. Scan the area for a working battery and take it from the drone.
  6. Connect the battery and restore the power.
  7. Talk to Myers, then to the strangers.
  8. Defeat Jacob and Taylor, or talk them round.
  9. Talk to Myers and, if there was a fight, pick up the bodies.

Capitán Caliente

  1. Wake up, talk to Myers and take the lift down.
  2. Head to the Capitán Caliente restaurant.
  3. Open the main door with 12 Body or 12 Technical Ability, or find another way in. Watch for the laser traps at the door.
  4. Scan the area to find the old phone, and move the shelf in front of it.
  5. Call the number 0931.

Solomon Reed

  1. Go to the basketball court in the daytime and sit to wait for the meeting.
  2. Talk to the stranger.
  3. Go to the black Thorton parked nearby and get in.
  4. Talk to Reed during the drive.
  5. Defeat Hansen's soldiers on the way. Many carry progression shards.
  6. Get back in the car and drive on.
  7. Defeat the soldiers in the lobby, then take the lift to the 8th floor with Reed.
  8. Lead Reed to the hideout and talk to Myers and Reed.
  9. Leave the building and wait two days for Reed's call.

Choices

Jacob and Taylor

The two strangers in the hideout can be fought or convinced to help shelter Myers. If they are kept alive, Jacob points V to an airdrop the next morning, and a shard with their conversation lies on a table behind Taylor. If they die, Johnny points out the airdrop instead.

Rewards

Completing Lucretia My Reflection rewards Active Chimera Core (missable) and Hawk (missable).

The Chimera's core can be taken at the very start of the job. It is a decoration for V's apartment and can also be used to craft Iconic weapon mods. The airdrop pointed out during the job holds a Tetratronic Rippler cyberdeck, a breathable unitard, a carrying capacity shard and panoramic VR goggles.

Tips

The two day wait for Reed's call is a good time for side jobs, gigs and hunting Relic points around Dogtown. During this job, Mr. Hands calls, and the Tanishi T400 vehicle becomes V's afterwards. Coach Fred also texts some time after V leaves the hideout, asking for help with a fighter named Aaron in No Easy Way Out.

  • The job can be failed. If it is, Songbird reports that Barghest found the hideout and killed Myers and Reed, and the rest of the Phantom Liberty story is lost.

  • The King of Pentacles Tarot card is painted on a wall in the hideout's corridor.
