Olive Branch is a Special Delivery gig from Wakako Okada in Japantown, Westbrook. Sergei Karasinsky, a solo on the Tyger Claws' blacklist, wants a peace offering delivered to them: a car parked in a garage on Redwood Street. The car is not the whole gift. In the boot lies Alex Pushkin, a Biotechnica employee who turned down the Tyger Claws, kidnapped by Sergei to buy his own pardon.
Story
Acts Before He Thinks
Wakako explains in the journal. Sergei Karasinsky is a solo who, like her husband, acts before he thinks, which sooner or later always means trouble. Luckily, he is also panicking, so the pay is good, and it is practically flying from his account into theirs. He waits at the Silk Road with a peace offering for the Tyger Claws. He cannot deliver it himself, as he has just been blacklisted. He believes this small token will help the Tygers find forgiveness in their hearts.
The Car
Sergei hints that the offering is more than a car, but says no more. He unlocks the garage and leaves. On the drive, someone pleads from the boot.
Alex
If V opens the boot, Alex Pushkin is inside. He refused an offer from the Tyger Claws, and Sergei kidnapped him to hand over to the gang. V can free him, or shut the boot and finish the delivery.
A Nomad V who did Guinea Pigs, and spoke to the clerk at the hotel there, has one more line. Alex worked with Joanne Koch on the test in the Badlands that killed dozens of the Red Ochre clan. He shows no remorse, and calls the victims roaches.

Choices
Deliver or Free
Delivering Alex and the car completes the contract, and Wakako praises V's discretion. Freeing Alex gets V double what Sergei would have paid. Wakako is surprised V showed mercy to a corpo and left Sergei holding the bag, but says Sergei was simply outbid, and closes the contract.
Angering the Tyger Claws at the restaurant turns them hostile. After the fight, the gig can only be finished by freeing Alex. Killing Alex, or trying to drive him out of Night City, fails the gig and disappoints Wakako.
Rewards
Completing Olive Branch pays €$ 2,720, 550 experience and 843 Street Cred.
The gig pays eddies, experience and Street Cred, and more if V frees Alex.
Tips
Each ending leaves a body behind as a hidden gem. A delivered Alex later lies by a storm drain in Charter Hill, near the casino from Tyger and Vulture. If Alex goes free, Sergei's body turns up in an alley behind the Dicky Twister in Vista del Rey, near Delamain HQ.
