T-Bug is a netrunner who works with V and Jackie Welles during their first months as mercs. She is a real specialist in her field, picky about her contracts and careful with her life. Unlike more reckless netrunners, she plans to reach retirement with enough money to leave Night City for good. She guides the crew from the net during the heist on Konpeki Plaza.
Biography
Before V
T-Bug used to work with a solo named Rhino on gigs in Coastview. When the Animals came to their door and wanted to challenge her, Rhino fought in her place, won, and joined the gang as one of its fighters. T-Bug also helped Dexter DeShawn escape Pacifica after his run-in with the Voodoo Boys, and that connection later brings the crew to him.
The Crew
V and Jackie work with T-Bug on several small gigs as they build their names. She teaches V the basics of netrunning and guides them through the rescue of Sandra Dorsett from a Scavenger den, the job that brings them to Dex's attention. Dex hires her first for the Konpeki job, since she already knows the mercs.
When V studies Evelyn Parker's braindance of Yorinobu Arasaka's suite, V insists that T-Bug join the session. Judy Álvarez does not like letting an outsider into her gear, but she agrees, and T-Bug shares what she learns about the hotel's network.
Death at Konpeki
During the heist, T-Bug runs the hotel's systems from her apartment and opens the way for V and Jackie. When Yorinobu kills his father and the hotel is locked down, Arasaka's netrunners find her in the network. They burn out her brain from afar, and she dies in her chair. Her body is later found in her apartment.
Personality
T-Bug is dry, sharp and all business. She sees little difference between a solo and a netrunner, because both take risky contracts that end in fights with corporations or the law, and black ICE kills as surely as a bullet. She does not hide her impatience with Jackie's jokes or V's questions. She wants to live long, and that makes her careful about which jobs she takes.
Relationships
Jackie Welles and V are her partners on the street. Dexter DeShawn is the fixer she once saved and who hires her for the heist. Rhino is the solo who took her place against the Animals.
Jobs
T-Bug teaches netrunning to V in Practice Makes Perfect and guides the crew in The Rescue and The Heist. The Gift follows up on her after the heist.

Notes
During The Heist, T-Bug opens the balcony door of the penthouse. The stairs beside it lead to the landing pad where the iconic katana Satori waits.
Her avatar can be seen on screens inside the Cynosure facility in Phantom Liberty.
