The Ash of War: Beast's Roar is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Keen affinity and the Beast's Roar skill. It is picked up mid-game, in Greyoll's Dragonbarrow.
Beast's Roar has the wielder rear up and stomp, then unleash a beastly roar that travels forward as a sonic projectile. The blast deals strike damage and bursts into a shockwave on contact, giving melee weapons a cheap ranged option. As a Keen skill, its damage scales with Dexterity and the weapon's upgrade level. It suits Dexterity builds that want to pressure or finish enemies from a distance without switching to a bow or catalyst.
Stats
It grants the Keen affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Quality, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 10 FP. Skill
Use it to hit enemies that keep their distance or to soften targets before closing in. The stomp staggers enemies standing right next to the wielder, but the projectile itself is the main source of damage. Its animation looks like the opening of other roar skills, which can catch other players off guard.
