The Ash of War: Bloodhound's Step is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Keen affinity and the Bloodhound's Step skill. It is a mid-game find in Greyoll's Dragonbarrow.
Bloodhound's Step turns the wielder briefly invisible while dashing at high speed in any direction. It travels farther than a dodge roll and grants generous invulnerability frames, and it can be used even when overloaded. It also lets the wielder circle around a locked-on target. It suits any build that wants a cheap, reliable dodge, from light Dexterity fighters to heavily armored players carrying colossal weapons.

It grants the Keen affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Quality, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 5 FP. Skill
Use it in place of a roll to slip through attacks or reposition behind a boss after a big swing. Repeated uses in quick succession grant slightly fewer invulnerability frames, and without FP the dash keeps very little protection. It also works as a quick way to cross deep water and swamps that slow normal movement.
