Blaidd the Half-Wolf is a character in Elden Ring.
Blaidd the Half-Wolf is the loyal shadow of Ranni the Witch and one of the best known allies in Elden Ring. He is first found in the Mistwood Ruins in Limgrave, hunting a traitor named Darriwil. He later searches for the way into Nokron and fights beside the Tarnished against Starscourge Radahn. His story ends at Ranni's Rise, where his loyalty finally turns against him.
Lore
Blaidd is half man and half wolf, a warrior in worn black armor with a wolf pelt thrown over it as a cape. He fights with the Royal Greatsword, a Carian blade that carries a biting cold.
The Two Fingers made him as a shadowbound beast to serve Ranni once she was named an Empyrean. Queen Rennala approved of him, and he grew up beside Ranni as her stepbrother.
Blaidd swore to serve no master but Ranni, and cold magic filled his greatsword at the moment of that oath. War Counselor Iji feared what the shadow might become and locked him in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol.
When Ranni turned against the Two Fingers, the curse placed within him took hold. Blaidd still stood guard at Ranni's Rise and cut down the Black Knife assassins sent after his lady.
