Bloodhound Knight Darriwil is an evergaol boss in Elden Ring.
Bloodhound Knight Darriwil is a fast, brutal knight sealed inside the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in Limgrave. Blaidd the Half-Wolf hunts him as a traitor and can join the fight. Darriwil dashes across the arena and makes his foes bleed with every cut. Victory earns the Bloodhound's Fang, a curved greatsword that many early builds rely on.
Lore
Darriwil is a lean knight in dark armor who fights like a hunting hound. He swings a heavy curved greatsword, rakes with a clawed hand and sometimes runs on all fours.
He was once one of Ranni's hounds. Blaidd calls him nothing but a traitor who needs a fitting end to his tale.

Attacks
- Bloodhound's Step: he blurs and dashes a short distance to set up a surprise attack; raise a guard or get ready to roll.
- Galloping Slice: he runs in on all fours, leaps and slices in a circle; roll to the right as the sword tip shows beside his head.
- Claw Swipe: he jogs in and swipes with his claw; roll when the claw swings out wide.
- Grinding Attacks: he drags his blade or claw along the ground in sparks before striking; dodge it, then punish the long recovery.
- Twirling Slam: a quick slice that ends in a downward slam; roll back or block, then land a quick hit.
- Overhead Slam: the blade pauses behind him, then crashes down; roll left or right and strike.
- Jumping Slam: a delayed leap that ends in a heavy blow; wait for the descent before rolling.
Tactics
- Speak with Blaidd at Mistwood Ruins first so his summon sign appears at the evergaol.
- Carry Staunching Boluses, since his cuts build up bleed quickly.
- Keep a shield up while learning his moves; a greatshield turns many attacks into guard counter chances.
- Attack only once or twice per opening, because he punishes long combos.
- Watch for the sparks from his grinding attacks, which signal a safe opening after the dodge.
- Casters can set up Glintstone Phalanx blades at range and let them strike as he closes in.
