The Harp Bow is a Light Bow in Elden Ring. It is a mid-game find in the Altus Plateau.

The Harp Bow is fashioned from a minstrel's harp and still rings with sonorous tones as it fires, its description recalling troubadour songs of champions, both loyal to the Erdtree and one who spurned honor for blasphemy. It is gained from the painter's spirit on a cliff in the Altus Plateau, east of the Sainted Hero's Grave, after viewing the Champion's Song painting found along the eastern wall of the Shaded Castle. At 2 weight it is the lightest light bow, with low requirements of 9 Strength and 9 Dexterity, but it is also the weakest in its class. Its fixed skill, Barrage, fires arrows rapidly, which applies ailments quickly with special arrows. It suits a character who wants a near-weightless ranged sidearm rather than a main ranged weapon.

Stats

The Harp Bow is the lightest bow in the game at 2.0 weight and the only light bow upgraded with Somber stones, with equal, modest Strength and Dexterity requirements. It has the lowest attack of its class at 62, so it suits a build that wants a bow purely for status arrows and Barrage, where base attack matters least.

Skill

Barrage costs 2 FP. The wielder turns sideways into a horizontal archery stance, then fires an arrow with each attack input in very rapid succession. Each shot costs a small amount of FP and deals less damage than a normal shot, but the much higher rate of fire makes up for it. Movement slows to a walk and stamina recovers far more slowly while the stance is held.

Suggested Build

Carried as a featherweight backup bow: Barrage with status arrows quickly applies poison, bleed or other ailments before melee.
