The Rabbath's Cannon is a Ballista in Elden Ring.
When to Use It
Shadow of the Erdtree. It is found around Scadu Altus in the expansion, which opens only once Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood are beaten.
Why Players Pick It
Shadow of the Erdtree. The only split-damage ballista: 135 physical + 135 magic at +0, 378 + 378 at max. Lowest Strength requirement of the three at 28, effectively 19. Its total attack rating (AR) is the highest in the class, but split across two types, so it beats the Jar Cannon into magic-weak targets and loses to it into anything with balanced defences. Pairs with Rabbath's Greatbolt. Chest atop Rabbath's Rise in eastern Scadu Altus.
Upgrades
Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.
Build
It scales with nothing, so the Str 28 and Dex 16 it asks for is all the investment it wants. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

- Found in a chest atop Rabbath's Rise northeast of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in eastern Scadu Altus.
- To reach it, unseal the Spiritspring by breaking the sealing stones hidden behind the illusory wall on the rise's lower balcony.
