The Spiralhorn Shield is a Small Shield in Elden Ring. It is found in Liurnia of the Lakes, around the middle of a run.

The Spiralhorn Shield is a small shield of antlers arranged in an eddy-like pattern, once given to a Tarnished warrior with close ties to the ancestral followers. It lies on a corpse uphill along the lake shore northwest of the Ruined Labyrinth Site of Grace, near the Mausoleum Compound in Liurnia of the Lakes. It raises immunity, robustness and focus by 50 each, slightly boosting resistance to scarlet rot, poison, frostbite, bleed, sleep and madness, and the effect works even with the shield on the back. Striking with its antlers builds blood loss, and it suits players who want a general defensive boost for exploration and PvP.

Parry costs no FP. Timed against a foe's melee attack, the parry deflects the blow and breaks the attacker's stance, opening them to a critical hit. It costs no FP, and the exact motion varies with the shield or weapon carrying it. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

Guarding

With a guard boost of 44, a blocked hit that would cost 100 stamina only costs 56. It lets 25% of physical damage through, and against the elements it holds up best to lightning, at 39%, and worst to holy, at 32%. If a block empties the stamina bar, the guard breaks and a critical hit can follow.

Build

Carried on the back or in the off hand for its broad resistances while exploring or in PvP, with Parry for openings.
