The St. Trina's Torch is a Torch in Elden Ring. It is one of the late rewards, found in the Consecrated Snowfield.

St. Trina's Torch is a candlestand torch burning with a light-purple flame that induces sleep, carved with an unsettling adult form of St. Trina. It lies in the chest of a wandering carriage in the southeastern Consecrated Snowfield, near another carriage that holds the Flowing Curved Sword. Every hit deals physical and fire damage and builds sleep, one of the few reliable ways to inflict sleep in the game. Fires of Slumber blows into the candle to spread a stream of hazy purple fire across the ground ahead, putting foes to sleep, and it works well on enemies such as Magma Wyrms and Runebears. It suits a Faith character who wants sleep from the off hand.

Why Players Pick It

The St. Trina's Torch has the highest sleep buildup among torches at 72, and sleep is the most useful status a torch can apply. Fires of Slumber lays a carpet of purple flame for 15 FP that puts enemies to sleep across an area at once, so a whole group can be taken out of the fight together. It deals 51 physical plus 91 fire at base.

Skill

Fires of Slumber costs 15 FP. The wielder blows into the candlestick's flame and sweeps a stream of hazy purple fire across the ground ahead. The flames deal no damage but build up sleep on every enemy they touch, and the embers left on the ground keep adding to it. The skill is unique to this weapon and cannot be swapped out.

"Blow into the candlestick's flame, creating a stream of hazy purple fire to cover the ground ahead. The intoxicating flames inflict the sleep ailment upon foes."

Notes

"Candlestand torch that burns with a light-purple flame. The carving depicts St. Trina, but in adult form, somewhat unnervingly. The light-purple flame induces sleep."
