Black Whetblade is a whetblade in Elden Ring. It is a mid-game find in Nokron, Eternal City.
The Black Whetblade is a dark whetblade engraved with a cipher. It works like the Whetstone Knife and adds three arcane-leaning affinities. It lies in Night's Sacred Ground in Nokron, Eternal City. Arcane builds rely on it.
Use
With this whetblade, physical and occult-type Ashes of War can apply the Poison, Blood or Occult affinity. Each of these adds Arcane scaling. Poison and Blood also add status buildup.
"Black whetblade with a cipher engraved. Can be used as a whetstone knife. When applying an affinity using physical or occult-type ashes of war, an additional affinity of poison, blood, or occult can be chosen."
