Sword Of The Serpent is the best sword for backstab damage. Sword Of The Serpent is a one-handed sword that deals cutting and poison damage. It adds backstab damage and a chance to poison on hit. It belongs to the serpent weapons of the Lunar New Year Trader.

Enhancements by Level

Each upgrade at the Blacksmith raises a copy by one level and unlocks the next enhancement. The levels count from the copy's own level, so a level 9 copy unlocks them at levels 10 to 14. Rarity sets how many upgrades a copy takes: one for common, up to five for legendary.

Lore

The glistening green blade blends the look of betrayal with the spirit of the Lunar New Year. It is one of the wares that bandits stole from Mei-Yin Chen, the Lunar New Year Trader. A bandit's note says buyers had been found for the sword. The deal was set for the far side of Willow Crush. The sword now lies at Glenwood's End in Revelwood.

Its companions are the Bow Of The Serpent and the Staff Of The Serpent. Mei-Yin's quest Lunar New Year Sword sends players after the stolen blade. Returning both the sword and the staff opens her quest Prove Yourself Worthy. Once found, the sword can be crafted again at the Lunar New Year Trader. It is one of the unique items of Revelwood in the Set List.
