The Short Sword is a common one-handed sword in Enshrouded. It deals cutting damage. At level 50, a common copy hits for 84 base damage. It attacks every 0.6 seconds, which comes to about 140 damage per second. Its upgrades unlock extra piercing damage, damage against the Wildlife, health leech and extra cutting damage. The Blacksmith upgrades it.

Enhancements by Level

Each upgrade at the Blacksmith raises a copy by one level and unlocks the next enhancement. The levels count from the copy's own level, so a level 9 copy unlocks them at levels 10 to 14. Rarity sets how many upgrades a copy takes: one for common, up to five for legendary.

How to Get Short Sword Guide

The Short Sword drops from Vukah enemies. Vukah live in the Springlands, the Low Meadows, the Nomad Highlands and the Blackmire of Revelwood. Vukah Warriors carry short swords, so they are the most likely source. Each copy rolls its own rarity, and a higher rarity unlocks more of its perks. Those perks add piercing damage, health leech and extra damage against wildlife. The Blacksmith upgrades it with Runes.
