The Ashwood Door hangs in a standard two by two opening. It is the only door in the Ashwood range and the one piece of it that needs metal as well as timber. You find it in the Doors and Gates part of the build menu. It swings open with a press and shuts behind you against whatever followed you home.
How to Build It
It costs three Ashwood and one bar of Flametal, with a Workbench in range. The Flametal is the real cost, since you have to smelt it from Flametal Ore in a Blast Furnace, so this door stays off the menu until the Ashlands and its ore veins are behind you. Leave a two by two gap in the wall for it. The timber around the frame will not catch even when the ground outside is burning.
