The Darkwood gate fills the gap every courtyard wall needs for people and carts to pass through. Four metres wide and two high, it is the heavy double door of the darkwood set in the Doors and Gates tab: black timber banded with iron that swings open when you need it.
How to Build It
It costs sixteen wood, four iron and two tar, by far the most expensive piece in the set. Watch the station, because this one breaks the pattern: the gate needs a forge in range to build and repair, not the workbench every other darkwood piece uses. The iron in the recipe also means you cannot build one until you have cleared a crypt or two.
