How to Craft
- Crafted at Forge, station level 3.
- Costs 10x Finewood, 8x Black metal, 5x Chain at quality 1.
- Materials can be found in the Plains biome.
When to Use It
Mid game. Black Metal drops from Fuling in the Plains, which is well past Moder.
Upgrades

Properties
The middle option, and the one that parries. Less raw block armour than the tower shield of its tier, but a round shield can parry, and a parry staggers the attacker into double damage for as long as the stagger lasts.
78 armour, 117 on a parry. Against the Black metal tower shield's 104 blocking, that makes this the harder guard of the 2 in the hands of anyone who can time a parry, and the softer one for anyone who cannot.
