Flametal Armor
Flametal Armor has the highest armour value in the game: 114 across 3 pieces at quality 1, rising to 132. You craft it from Flametal at a Black Forge.
The breastplate and greaves each add 20% heat resistance on top, which matters a lot in the Ashlands. The set has the standard -10% movement penalty and needs the Black Forge at level 3.
A fresh set has the same armour as a fully upgraded Carapace Armor. Carapace still keeps more durability, but the heat resistance is what decides it.
How to Craft
Every piece is crafted at a level 3 Black Forge from:
- 56x Flametal: Smelted from Flametal Ore in a Blast Furnace.
- 9x Asksvin Hide: Dropped by Asksvin in the Ashlands.
- 12x Charred Bone: Dropped by the Charred in the Ashlands.
- 4x Refined Eitr: Refined from Sap and Soft Tissue at an Eitr Refinery.
- 1x Morgen Heart: Dropped by Morgens in the Ashlands.
