| Type | Cyberdeck |
The Tetratronic Rippler is the cyberdeck for netrunners who weaken enemies before the kill. Its bonuses reward non-Combat quickhacks, the ones that blind, distract or disable. Enemies hit by those quickhacks take more damage from V's weapons. Combat quickhacks also hit harder when a non-Combat quickhack follows them in the queue. It suits a hybrid Intelligence build that mixes hacking with gunplay and wants a deep pool of RAM. The Tetratronic Rippler is an early to late game cyberdeck, sold by every ripperdoc in Night City and Dogtown from the start of the game.
Effect
A cyberdeck is an operating system that lets V use quickhacks. Each quickhack costs RAM, and the deck sets how much RAM V has. The deck also sets how many quickhacks V can carry and the size of its buffer. The Rippler's quickhack slots and buffer grow with each tier.
The Rippler adds a new bonus at each tier. At Tier 2, V's weapons deal fifteen percent more damage to enemies affected by non-Combat quickhacks. A blinded or distracted enemy therefore takes more damage from bullets and blades.
At Tier 3, Combat quickhacks deal forty percent more damage when a non-Combat quickhack follows them in the queue. The order matters. V queues the damaging quickhack first and the disabling one right after it.
At Tier 4, the deck adds extra Max RAM beyond its base pool. The bonus grows at Tier 5+ and again at Tier 5++.
At Tier 5, activating Overclock sends two quickhacks out at once. Reboot Optics and Weapon Glitch upload to every enemy within eight meters. Reboot Optics lowers their accuracy and can blind them. Weapon Glitch jams or damages their weapons.
How to Get Tetratronic Rippler Guide
- Visit any ripperdoc from the start of the game to buy it at Tier 1.
- Return every ten levels for a higher tier.
- Upgrade it at a ripperdoc with crafting components.

Upgrades
The Tetratronic Rippler comes in every tier from Tier 1 to Tier 5++. Each tier up to Tier 5 unlocks a new bonus. Tier 5+ and Tier 5++ raise only the extra RAM. The capacity cost stays the same at every tier. Ripperdocs stock a higher tier every ten levels, from Tier 2 at level 10 to Tier 5 at level 40. A ripperdoc can upgrade the installed deck with crafting components, which is the only way to reach Tier 5++.
The table shows what each tier step of Tetratronic Rippler costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 to Tier 1+ | 75 Tier 1 components | - |
| Tier 1+ to Tier 2 | 37 Tier 2 components | - |
| Tier 2 to Tier 2+ | 75 Tier 2 components | - |
| Tier 2+ to Tier 3 | 37 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3 to Tier 3+ | 75 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3+ to Tier 4 | 37 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 75 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 37 Tier 5 components | - |

Character Builds
The Tetratronic Rippler belongs in an Intelligence build. Overclock unlocks the Tier 5 bonus and lets V hack with too little RAM by paying with Health. Hack Queue lets V stack two quickhacks on one enemy, which the Tier 3 bonus needs. Queue Acceleration adds one more queue spot. Embedded Exploit adds quickhack damage against enemies affected by Control quickhacks, Covert quickhacks or Distract Enemies. Icepick lowers the RAM cost of Combat quickhacks against the same enemies.
For cyberware, the Bioconductor lets quickhacks land critical hits. RAM implants such as the Camillo RAM Manager and the RAM Reallocator restore RAM when it runs low.
Select a Build
Quickhacks do most of the damage, chained from cover before enemies find the character. The Tetratronic Rippler cyberdeck adds quickhack damage, and Overclock spends Health in place of RAM. A smart weapon or the Monowire finishes anyone left standing.

Lore
Tetratronic builds the Rippler line. Its in-game description says the company takes pride in its decks being essential to combat operations around the globe. The text admits that claim may not be entirely true. It still insists the decks are powerful, effective and optimized for offensive daemons. Each tier carries its own model number, from Mk.1 at Tier 1 to Mk.5 at Tier 5.
Notes
- The Rippler fills the operating system slot, so it replaces a Sandevistan or a Berserk.
