The Mk.2x Grandstand is a long scope for rifles that fight at a distance. It gives a large zoom and a big boost to effective range. It also brings the sights up a little faster. It suits a character who picks off enemies from across a street or a yard. The Mk.2x Grandstand is an early game scope that weapon vendors sell from Tier 1.
Effect
A scope sits in a weapon's scope slot and changes how the gun aims. At Tier 1 it adds 0.5 zoom and 20% effective range. At Tier 4 it adds 0.8 zoom and 35% effective range. Every tier also shortens the time it takes to aim down sights.
Effective range is the distance a shot travels before its damage starts to drop. A longer range keeps distant shots at full strength. The extra zoom makes small targets such as heads easier to hit.
The Mk.2x Grandstand is worth the slot on an assault rifle or a precision rifle used at long range. Close fights gain little from the heavy zoom.

Upgrades
The Mk.2x Grandstand comes in Tiers 1 to 4. Each tier adds more zoom and more effective range. A scope can only go on a weapon of the same tier or a higher one. Scopes can be taken off a gun and moved to another one at any time.
Character Builds
The Mk.2x Grandstand helps any build that shoots from far away. Focus in the Cool tree adds damage to headshots and weak spots. Deadeye raises headshot and weak spot damage further. Long Shot keeps shots at full damage at any distance while Deadeye is active.
Tunnel Vision in the Reflexes tree raises effective range and accuracy. Sharpshooter makes aiming faster.
