Moron Labe is an Iconic Militech M251s Ajax that V has to craft. Its crafting spec drops from a scavenger boss in West Wind Estate. The rifle is earned through an NCPD hustle rather than a story job. It is a brutal close and mid-range assault rifle. Its rounds tear limbs off, and every dismemberment raises V's crit chance against that enemy. The downside is an uneven fire rate that makes careful aim harder. It works best for a player who likes to spray, tear off limbs and keep landing crits. Moron Labe can be crafted once its spec is looted from Anton Kolev. He leads the Suspected Organized Crime Activity on Pacific Boulevard in West Wind Estate, Pacifica.
Combat
Moron Labe is a Power assault rifle, so it hits hardest when the rounds stay on target. Its Iconic effect rewards hits that tear off limbs. Each dismemberment raises crit chance against the enemy. Against groups of gangers, a long burst can land crit after crit.
The uneven fire rate is the downside. The gun never fires at a steady pace, which makes it harder to keep shots close together at range. Moron Labe therefore works best in close and mid-range fights, where hitting the body is easy and limbs come off often. It takes both a scope and a muzzle attachment. A short sight and a suppressor work well on it.

Upgrades
The rifle must first be crafted from its spec. After that, Moron Labe is upgraded like any Iconic weapon, through the crafting menu's Upgrades tab. Each tier costs crafting components from looting, crafting and disassembly. A spec picked up early crafts a low-tier rifle, so the later tiers cost a lot in total. The rifle must be in V's inventory to be upgraded.

Character Builds
Assault rifles use the Reflexes tree. Mind Over Matter cuts recoil while aiming, and Spray And Pray lowers the Stamina cost of hip-fire. Sharpshooter gains a stack with every hit and improves weapon control. Practice Makes Perfect adds crit chance and crit damage for each Sharpshooter stack, which adds to the rifle's own crit bonus. Shoot To Chill gives automatic weapons Armor Penetration for each stack. Salt In The Wound rewards seven hits in a row on one target.
For cyberware, Shock Absorber and Immovable Force cut recoil, which helps control the uneven fire. Moron Labe fires Power rounds, so the Ballistic Coprocessor makes its ricochets more frequent and more damaging. A Sandevistan such as the Militech Falcon adds crit chance while time slows.

Lore
The item text sets the mood: annoyed by the gangly, protruding limbs of opponents waving and flailing about? Moron Labe's answer is to remove them. The in-game line calls it a weapon for an alpha amongst alphas.
The spec comes from Anton Kolev, a gang leader wanted by the NCPD. The police dispatcher reports him and his crew on Pacific Boulevard and puts a price on their heads. Once Kolev goes down, the crafting spec for Moron Labe can be looted from his body.
