Sorceress Sellen is a character in Elden Ring.
Sorceress Sellen is the first teacher of glintstone sorceries most Tarnished meet. She waits in the cellar of the Waypoint Ruins in eastern Limgrave and takes the Tarnished on as an apprentice. Her questline sends the Tarnished after the lost masters Azur and Lusat and then toward a new body for her. It ends with a choice between helping her or Witch-Hunter Jerren at the Grand Library.
Lore
Sellen wears the Witch's Glintstone Crown. The figure in the Waypoint Ruins is only a projection, for her true body lies shackled in the Witchbane Ruins.
She studied at the Academy of Raya Lucaria under Azur, a founder of the glintstone schools, and became known as the Graven Witch. Her dream was to restore the Primeval Current, the oldest root of glintstone sorcery.
The Academy cast her out, and Witch-Hunter Jerren swore to end her. When Starscourge Radahn fell, her fate was loosed along with the stars, and she asked the Tarnished to carry her Primal Glintstone to a new body.
