Glintstone Kris

The Glintstone Kris is a Dagger in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Academy of Raya Lucaria, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Glintstone Dart costs 10 / 4 FP.

Skill that builds from the Glintstone Pebble sorcery. Charge the skill to upgrade it to Glintstone Dart. Follow up with a strong attack to chain this skill into a lunging thrust.
Unique to this weapon. It cannot be moved onto another weapon, and no Ash of War can replace it.

It scales Str E, Dex D, Int D, so Dex and Int are where the levels go.

Requires Str 5, Dex 12, Int 16.
Takes no Ash of War and no affinity, so the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Critical 110. A backstab, or a riposte after a guard break, is multiplied by this, where 100 is the baseline most weapons carry.

2 weapons of its class reach higher, topping out at 140.
It pays for getting behind an enemy or breaking their stance rather than trading hits in the open.

Ritual blade once presented to Leyndell by the Academy of Raya Lucaria to celebrate their newfound peace.
Though the weapon is embedded with precious glintstones and features Erdtree ornamentation, the undulating blade is symbolic of an ancient ritual.

Received if siding with Sorceress Sellen against Castellan Jerren in Academy of Raya Lucaria near the end of her questline.
