Bell Bearing Hunter is a field boss in Elden Ring.
The Bell Bearing Hunter is a briar-armored killer who stalks merchant shacks across the Lands Between at night. He appears only after resting at the nearby Site of Grace when night has fallen. He swings a great executioner's sword with long arcane reach and a thorned greatshield. Each hunter carries a merchant's bell bearing, which adds goods to the Twin Maiden Husks.
Lore
The hunter is a hulking phantom in battered iron armor wound with rusted iron briars. He carries a huge executioner's sword and a greatshield wrapped in iron thorns.
The hunter takes the shape of Elemer of the Briar, a warrior from Eochaid, a land of proudly solitary ascetics. The winding briars on his armor marked him as guilty and sentenced to death. Elemer murdered many instructors and merchants for their bell bearings and became known as the Bell Bearing Hunter.

Attacks
- Arcane Sword Swings: glowing sword waves that reach the player even at a distance. A shield blocks them, or a roll through the wave avoids them.
- Heavy sword combos: aggressive, long-reaching strings. Staying defensive and waiting for the end of the string works best.
- Shield bashes: thorned shield strikes at close range. A roll to the side avoids them.
- Slow approach: when he first spawns he walks toward the player without attacking, leaving time for free hits or a big spell.
Tactics
- Rest at the nearby Site of Grace, pass time to night, then approach the shack to make him appear.
- Use his slow first approach to land free hits or cast a big spell.
- Equip the Dragoncrest Shield Talisman and keep a shield ready for his sword waves.
- Fight from Torrent in the open to dodge his reach.
- Watch for nearby enemies that can join the fight.
- Use lightning, because he takes extra damage from it.

Notes
- He appears only at night, after resting at the nearby Site of Grace.
- The hunters give 2,700 runes at the Warmaster's Shack, 6,000 at the Church of Vows, 20,000 at the Hermit Merchant's Shack and 50,000 at the Isolated Merchant's Shack.
- Two parries are needed to break his stance.
- Defeating Elemer of the Briar in the Shaded Castle does not stop the hunters from appearing.
