The Pulley Bow is a Bow in Elden Ring.
When to Use It
Mid game. It is found around Mt. Gelmir, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.
Why Players Pick It
Longest range of any bow at 55, against 50 for the rest of the class, and the only bow with D/D scaling rather than E/D at base, on symmetric 11 Str / 11 Dex. It is also the heaviest bow at 5.0. Found on a corpse atop a siege tower west of the First Mt.
Upgrades
Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.
Build
Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 11 and Dex 11 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.
Notes
Longbow which utilizes a series of pulleys and strings. The complex mechanism, which required advanced mathematical and mechanical understand to craft, was likely made by a certain genius who learned Golden Order fundamentalism. Enhances precision while shooting, enabling arrows to fly much further distances.
